Aaronsburg is a census-designated place (CDP) in Centre County, Pennsylvania. It is part of the State College Metro Area, and has a total area of 0.5 square miles, all of which is land. The settlement was founded by Aaron Levy, and is named after him. It was settled in 1786, with plans of making it the county seat, which didn't happen on account of the scarcity of water.
