Albany is a city in and the county seat of Dougherty County, Georgia state. It is the principal city of the Albany, Georgia metropolitan area and the southwest part of the state. The city's population was 77,434 as per the 2010 census.
The largest employers in the city are health care, education and the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany.
