Albers is a village in Clinton County, Illinois state. Its population at the 2000 census was 878.

Today, the original Henry Tonnies store (opened by Henry Tonnies, an enterpreneur) is Huegen Mercantile. The store has been in continuous operation since Henry opened the doors and therefore one of the longest operating mercantile stores in the state of Illinois.
