Brief Information About Alden
Alden is an unincorporated community located in Helena Township in Antrim County in the state of Michigan. It is at a distance of about 20 miles from Traverse City, in the northeast direction. It is situated at an elevation of 604 feet above sea level. After the former names of Noble and Spencer Creek, the current name was adopted in 1892. It was for William Alden Smith, who was an official with the railroad company. He went on to become the Senator for Michigan.
