Alexandria is a city in and the county seat of Campbell County, Kentucky. Its population at the 2000 census was 8,286.
As the city doesn't lie immediately adjacent the Ohio River, its growth has been limited as compared to its neighbours. The Agricultural Society of Campbell County regularly organizes a fair for the benefit of the farmers. It has many popular horse show events, and brings high standard horses from around the mideast.
