Algonquin is a village in Illinois located in both McHenry and Kane counties. This is about 40 miles from the Chicago Loop, making it a northwest suburb of the city. Its population at the 2010 census was 30,046.
Its downtown is centrally located in Fox River Valley. This village has experienced considerable growth for the last twenty years, making it a regional hub with major spurt in business activities as well as residential growth.
