Allen Park is a city in Wayne County in the state of Michigan. It is a suburb of Detroit. It was incorporated as a city in 1957, and its population at the 2010 census was 28,210.
The largest employer here is the Ford Motor Company. A number of the company's offices and facilities lie within the city limits. Allen Park also has the world's largest tire scupture; it is called the "Uniroyal Tire".
