Allendale is a village in Wabash Precinct, Wabash County, Illinois. Its population at the 2000 census was 528. The village was moved about a mile from its original location to be on the railroad.
Allendale is home to the First National Bank of Allendale, the oldest bank in the county, and the only bank in the county that survived the Great Depression.
