Brief Information About Alpine
With an area of about 0.7 sq. miles, Alpine is a small town of Lincoln County. It is almost at the south end of the snake river, where it enters the reservoir of Palisades. Due to its strategic location, it is also known as the Alpine junction. The North end of the Greys river is famous for its various winter sports activities. This makes tourism and adventure sports an important part of the activity in the local economy.
