With a total area of about 20 sq. kms, Anderson Island is in the far south of Puget Sound.  The island is part of Pierce County, it lies south of the island of Mc Neil and Key Peninsula lies in the Northwest.  Though residents earn their living through various agricultural activities, some of them are also engaged with the service sector.
