Brief Information About Andover
Andover is a town in Essex County, Massachusetts. It is part of the Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, Massachusetts-New Hampshire metropolitan statistical area, and its population at the 2010 census was 33,201. This includes the census-designated place (CDP) named Andover as well.
The famous Phillips Academy is located here, as well as the Andover Inn, and the IRS campus service center, the last of which received funds to modernize by a 2009 Act. The Massachusetts School of Law is located here. Andover is home to the second oldest land preservation society in the country, the Andover Village Improvement Society (AVIS), which administers over 1,100 acres.
The population predominantly comrpises White Americans. A small percentage of the population comprises people of Asian origin.

Andover Animal Hospital open for businessANDOVER The newly relocated Andover Animal Hospital celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Jan. 26. "It was meant to be in Andover Township," said hospital administrator Jill Hummel. Her husband, Dr. Harvey Hummel, is the third owner of the veterinary practice, which was founded in 1958 and originally located on Perona Road in Sparta.
