Arlington is a city in Reno County, Kansas. Its population at the 2010 census was 473.
In 1887, a rail line was built main line from Herington through Arlington to Pratt. This changed hands a number of times and eventually merged in 1997 with Union Pacific Railroad. The locals still refer to this railroad as the "Rock Island".
