Arnold is a census-designated place (CDP) in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It is located on the scenic Broadneck peninsula, and its population at the 2000 census was 23,422.
The CDP has twelve marinas, and the riverside is scenic, making it popular among tourists. Some of popular attractions are Maryland's State Tree and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Several recreational options for golfing and biking are also available here.
The majority of the population comprises White Americans. A small percentage of the population comrpises African Americans.
