Brief Information About Ashland
Ashland is a census-designated place (CDP) in Rosebud County, Montana. Its population at the 2000 census was 464.
It is near the border of the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation and the location of the St. Labre Indian Catholic High School. The school was established in 1884 as a boarding school by a Catholic mission to the Cheyenne.
As per 2000 census, the racial makeup of Arlee is 21.55% White, 75.22% Northern Cheyenne, and the remainder being people of other races. A small percentage of the population comprises people of Hispanic origin.
