Ashland is the same name of two places located in two different counties of the same state of New York. One Ashland is located in the County of Chemung and is located to the south of Elmira and New York MSA. It has a total area of about 38 sq. kms. and located at an elevated height of about 827 ft. above the ground level.
The other town of the same name of Ashland is located in the County of Greene and has a total area of about 67 sq. kms and is situated at an elevated height of about 1930 ft. above the ground level. A majority of the natives of this town are white in their racial origin and are principally engaged with the service sector.
