Brief Information About Auburndale

Auburndale is a city in Polk County, Florida state. It is part of the Lakeland–Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical Area. As per 2005 census estimates, its population was 12,381.

Auburndale was founded in 1880 by Frank Fuller as he wanted to escape the chilly winters in the Northeast United States. The city became a refuge for many of America's most prominent artists.
