Brief Information About Avondale Estates
Avondale Estates is a city in DeKalb County, Georgia state. The city's population was 2,960 as per the 2010 census. The city was named after Stratford-upon-Avon, England, birthplace of Shakespeare. It is a planned community founded in 1924 by George Francis Willis.
A number of art galleries and studios make their home in an area of the city known as the Rail Arts District.
