Brief Information About Barkhamsted
Barkhamsted is a town in Litchfield County in Connecticut state. It comprises six villages, West Hill, Mallory, Center Hill, Washington Hill, Pleasant Valley and Riverton. At the 2000 census, the population was 3,494.
The town has a number of historically significant buildings. Fishing is a popular acitivity on the Farmington River, which runs through the villages of Riverton and Pleasant Valley.
