Bartlett is a town in Carroll County, New Hampshire. Its population at the 2010 census was 2,788. The villages of Glen, Lower Bartlett and Intervale are included within town limits. The town is within the White Mountains, and is surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest. Bartlett was incorporated in 1790.
The main commercial activity here is tourism, due to the surrounding mountain range and the national forest. Attitash ski area has a claim to be the largest ski area in New Hampshire. The town has two covered bridges. The town was also a major railroad center, attracting railfans now. Mount Parker, with an elevation of 3,004 ft, is in the north, and Bear Mountain, elevation 3,200 ft, is on the southern boundary. Glen has an amusement park named Story Land.
