Batavia is a city located in the County of Genesee in the state of New York. It is located in the western part of the New York state. Batavia occupies a total area of about 14 sq. kms. and is located at an elevated height of about 893 ft. from the ground level. Here is the Oatka Milk Plant and it processes a large quantity of milk, forming a significant industry in the area. This leads to the development of not only cattle rearing, but also the agricultural sector. There is a local Post Office and educational and health care facilities in the area.
