Brief Information About Beacon
Beacon is a city located within the County of Dutchess in New York. It is said to be a part of the larger New York Metropolitan Statistical Area. Beacon has a total area of about 13 sq. kms. located at an elevated height of about 140 ft. above the sea level. There are a lot of museums, parks and historical sites in and around the area and this attracts a lot of tourists in the area. The local transportation facilities are also quite advanced in the area. This has boosted significant development in the tourism sector. The local education sector also provides employment as well as educational oppurtunities to the locals.
