Blackfoot is a city in Bingham County, Idaho state. Its population at the 2000 census was 10,419, and it is the county seat of Bingham County.
Blackfoot is the principal city of the Blackfoot, Idaho Micropolitan Statistical Area. It was incorporated as a town in 1907. It is home to the Idaho Potato Museum, which is home to the world's largest baked potato and potato chip. It also hosts the Eastern Idaho State Fair.
