With a total area of about 1 sq. mile, Bladensburg is a town of Prince George's County. It is about 9 miles away from the central part of Washington DC. There are a number of Historical sites and buildings in Bladensburg, which help to attract a large number of tourists around the city. Most of these buildings are listed in the National Register of Historical Places. There are a number of Pimary and secondary schools in and around Bladensburg and it employs a substantial number of locals from the area.
