Brief Information About Blue Springs

Blue Springs is a village in Union County, Mississippi. Its population at the 2000 census was 144.

This is the site of Toyota's eighth North American vehicle assembly plant, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi. The new plant was put on hold following the financial crisis, but has now been revived. The Toyota Corolla is slated to be assembled here.

The population predominantly comprises White Americans. A significant percentage of the population comrpises African Americans, and a small percentage of people are of Hispanic origin.
