Broken Bow is a city of McCurtain County in the U.S. State of Oklahoma. It is named after a town in the state of Nebraska, Broken Bow. It has a total area of about 13 sq. kms. The city is elevated at a height of about 470 ft. above the ground level.
The Kiamichi Mountains located nearby adds to the beuty of the city. It also attracts a number of tourists in the area. There are a number of timber industries and also some prominent museums in the region. The education sector serves the local student community.
