Brownville is a village located in the County of Nemaha in Nebraska. It has a total area of about 1.7 sq. kms., with an elevated height of about 960 ft. from the ground level. Among the principal industries of the town, there are two nuclear power plants in the area. Almost all the local inhabitants are white in their racial origin. The population is primarily involved with trade and other service oriented activities in the region. Some are employed with the local Post office, priliminary health facilities among others. Others are involved with the local governmental and infrastructure facilities.
