Brief Information About Buhl
Buhl is a city located on the old Oregon Trail in the western half of Twin Falls County, Idaho state. It is part of the Twin Falls, Idaho Micropolitan Statistical Area, and its population at the 2000 census was 4,037.
Known as the "Trout Capital of the World," the city boasts numerous hatcheries in the immediate surrounding area. These hatcheries produce most of the Rainbow trout consumed in the U.S.A. Clear Springs Foods, located just north of Buhl, processes over 20 million pounds of rainbow trout each year, making it the world's largest producer.
