Brief Information About Bullhead City
Bullhead City is a city located on the Colorado River in Mohave County, Arizona state. It is roughly 90 miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada, and directly across the Colorado River from Laughlin, Nevada, whose casinos and ancillary services supply much of the employment for Bullhead City. The city is located on the southern border of Lake Mohave.
According to 2010 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 39,540. The nearby communities of Laughlin; Needles; Fort Mohave; and Mohave Valley bring the Bullhead area's total population to about 100,000, making it the largest micropolitan area in Mohave County. Economically, Bullhead City has a stabilizing housing market. In addition, the city area is expected to be the future home of a six billion dollar solar plant and energy farm. The area is also a popular tourist destination, having facilities for kayaking, fishing, camping, hiking, scuba diving etc, due to its location on the border of Lake Mohave.
