Brief Information About Canton
Canton is a city of Madison County in the state of Mississippi. A major part of the city is under the National Register of Historical Places. There is a large automobile manufacturing facility in the town, operated by Nissan. The Courthouse Square is a historical shopping district. Canton is famous for its rail and logisticsal center. The total area of Canton is around 49 sq. kms. It is elevated at a height of about 234 ft. from the ground level. Based on the auto factory, other small industries and businesses have come up in the area. The education sector, shopping and health services are quite developed in the area and are a major source of employment.
