Brief Information About Conway
The city of Conway is located within the County of Carroll. There is the white mountain forest in the western and the northern part of the city. The Central Ledge is very popular with the climbers and is a popular trekking destination. Other tourist destnations include the Lake of Echo. The total area of Conway is around 186 sq. kms. and is elevated at a height of about 466 ft. from the ground level.
Tourism is an important part of the local economic activity and it boosts the development of small trade and services. There are a number of hotels and restaurants, departmental stores in Conway. Recently there has been a shift towards various kind of technological industries in the region. The education sector is quite well developed with a number of schools and colleges in the area.
