Dutton is a town in Jackson County, Alabama. It has a total area of 0.9 square miles, all of which is land. It is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area.

Manufacturing, retail trade, utilities, food and accommodation services and construction activities are the major economic activities here. It has one elementary school, the Dutton Elementary School. The closest hospital is the Highlands Medical Center, located about 13 miles away in Scottsboro.
