Monuments and Markers, in Esko, refer to structures that are built in memory of a person or event of significance. The idea is to commemorate and acknowledge the contribution that the person or event may have made in the past, which later bore an impact on history.  They may be of different types, viz, memorials, tombs, statues, temples, columns, grave stones, mounds, triumphal arches, etc.These markers and monuments become places of interest and value to visitors and tourists, both native and international.
