Brief Information About Fenwick Island
Fenwick Island is a coastal town in Sussex County, Delaware state. The population as per the 2010 census was 379. It is part of the Seaford, Delaware Micropolitan Statistical Area. It was incorporated in July 1953.
The town is known as a "Quient Resort" as opposed to livelier places like Dewey Beach and Rehoboth Beach. The town is named after Thomas Fenwick, a planter from England who settled in Maryland.
Tourism is a popular activity here, due to the presence of beaches, restaurants and hotels. It also has a lighthouse.
