Glennallen is a small community place located in the area of Cordova-Valdez. With a total area of about 298 sq. kms., Glennallen is elevated from the ground by about 298 sq. miles. Tourism and agriculture oriented activities are some of the prime economic activities of the region. There are a number of schools and health care facilities in the area which employ a lot of the local population. Transportation and tourism are some of the local economic activities of the region. There is also an airport at Gulkana, located about 4.4 miles northest of the small community town of Glennallen. There are a number of parks and recreation facilities in the area which helps in the growth of the tourism industry in the region.
