Exhaust systems in automobiles are used to carry away harmful gases through pipes which are emitted by the combustion of gases. Mufflers are part of the exhaust systems which are used in order to diminish the emissions and the noise while a vehicle moves. Mufflers’ backbox is so designed as to reduce the noise which is produced by the engine. Mufflers are located in the undercarriage and need proper maintenance as they tend to rust over time.

In Grenada there are numerous manufacturers of mufflers and exhaust systems which are used in automobiles. Many manufacturers in Grenada have distinctive features enabled in the mufflers and exhaust systems.
