Brief Information About Haleiwa
Haleiwa is a North Shore community and census-designated place (CDP) in the Waialua District of the island of Oahu, City and County of Honolulu. It is located on the mouth of Anahulu stream. The bay is surrounded by two beach parks. The CDP's population during the 2000 census was 2,225, making it the largest commercial center on the North Shore of the Island. The buildings from the plantation era are preserved, making this a popular tourist destination. Other attractions include surfing and diving sites.
