Heber is located in the County of Navajo, atop the Mogollon Rim. With a total area of about 18 sq. kms., Heber is located at an elevated height of about 6440 ft. above the ground level. There is the school district of Overgaard-Heber and it operates a number of schools in the area. Other locals are involved in the tourism sector and shops and stores.
