Service Stations, also known as a filling stations, in Holden, refer to a gas or petrol station that offer services such as oil change and mechanical repairs to automobiles. It is basically a facility which sells fuel and lubricants for motor vehicles. There are a few service stations in cities like Holden that sell only electric energy and are known as charging stations. Many service stations also combine small convenience stores and have added shops to the primary business.

Most service stations are built in a similar manner, with most of the fuelling installation underground. Local regulations and environmental concerns may require a different method, with some stations storing their fuel in container tanks.
