Brief Information About Imlay
Imlay is a small town in Pershing County, Nevada. Its population at the 2005 census was 233.
It is a railroad city that has declined in later years. Its most notable feature is a series of strange buildings called Thunder Mountain. These were built as a monument to Native American culture by a World War II veteran who called himself Thunder. The area's homes include ladders leading from its rooftops to nowhere and strange statues. In the surrounding desert you will find unused and abandoned mining structures, rusted cars, an old caterpillar tractor, and coyote dens.
