Oil and lubrication goes hand in hand. Oil plays an important function in lubrication purposes. Motor oil is used primarily for the lubrication of engines. The lubrication of moving parts of vehicles in Macedonia is mainly done by the motor oil, also known as engine oil. Crude oil cannot be used as a lubricant as the thick petroleum is not at all suitable for greasing.

In Macedonia motor oils are not only used for lubrication in vehicles like cars, trucks, etc, but also for lubrication purposes in non vehicles like lawn mowers, soil cultivators, generators, and similar other machines running on oil. Motor oils can be obtained from various stores in Macedonia which deal in vehicles.
