New River is an unincorporated town located in the county of Maricopa. It has a total area of 183 sq. km. The economy of the area has developed around industries involved in arts and crafts, building materials, apparel, construction, food, landscape equipments, oil, sporting goods and tourism. Commercial spaces are utilized by public schools, museum, supermarkets, garden centers, fast food restaurants, convenience stores, stores of clothing accessories, arts and crafts shops and bridal shops, contributing to the economic development of the place.
