The antique car era includes the beginning of the automobiles in Oceanside. In initially restored condition, antiques are very precious and are usually either cosseted and stored or exhibited in antique and classic shows but are very rarely driven.

The epoch of antique cars actually covers a precise time period from the beginning up to 1920 or prior to World War I. Antique automobiles are kept in museums in various parts of the world, to keep a record of those old inventions, and Oceanside represents them as heritage and classics of that century.
