A restaurant, in Stuart, is a place that prepares and serves food and drink to people in return for money. Meals are usually served to be eaten on the restaurant premises, but many restaurants also offer food delivery services. The modern restaurant has originated from the earlier inns, which were establishments for travelers to rest while travelling long distances and local public would rarely eat at these joints.             

 However, in recent times eating out has come to be considered as an important aspect of socializing. Restaurants have also come a long way and are mostly dedicated to serving of food based on the specific request of guests. Restaurant business has now flourished and there are several types of restaurants, from the simple ones that serve only food to the ones that have bars attached to them, and give the customers the opportunity to drink and socialize, apart from dining. But depending on local customs, a restaurant may or may not serve alcohol, as they are often prohibited from selling alcohol without a meal. Restaurants also cater to different types of cuisine, price brackets and religious requirements. Certain restaurants even specialize in certain types of food, for example, seafood restaurants, vegetarian restaurants, vegan restaurants, etc.
