Poultry is a class of birds that are kept as domestic pets by people for the purpose of obtaining their eggs, or killing them for their meat. Poultry birds in general include chickens, geese, ducks, etc. Different poultry birds are used for various purposes. Poultry birds like pigeons, doves are used for their meat, whereas birds like pheasants are used as games for hunting.
