Suwanee has animal hospitals. At such hospitals, family pets such as dogs and cats are treated by general medical and surgical services as well as specialized treatments. Some services that may be available include x-rays, laser surgery, limited in house laboratory, dentistry and anesthetic monitoring. Apart from dogs and cats, which are treated by animal hospitals without exception almost everywhere, rodents and rabbits may also be trated at some of them. Emergency services may also be available at some hospitals. These hospitals are staffed by board certified veterinarians.
