It was around 1940s when the town of Sweet Water first discovered and it named for Sweet Water Creek, that runs in the place. Sweet Water has a total area of 2.02 sq miles at 32.09737°N 87.86751°W. It is elevated by 184 feet above sea level. The Sweet Water Cotton Gin is what makes the town very famous and getting proud of.
