Campgrounds and recreational vehicle parks in Vaughn are usually set amidst hills. They are ideal for swimming and for throwing in a fishing line. Campfire facilities and firewood are also available. They are peaceful bush camps with a country feeling. The common facilities available are barbec, ue, open fireplace, and the activities allowed are animal watching, bird watching, fishing, walking/trekking/hiking tours, climbing, caving, cycling and biking, and enjoying scenic attraction. Pets are welcome though they must be contained at all times. Some even have theme and leisure parks. Most campgrounds in New Mexico offer RV (recreational vehicle) parking.
