Adena is a village spread between the Harrison and Jefferson Counties in the state of Ohio. The portion of the village in Jefferson County falls within the Weirton-Steubenville Metro Area. The village was founded in 1801 and incorporated just over a century later, in 1908. It has a total area of 0.5 square miles, all of which is land.
