Airmont is a village in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York. It was formed by the union of hamlets of Tallman, Airmont and South Monsey. It was incorporated in 1991. It has a total area of 4.6 square miles, all of which is land. Airmont falls within the New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island Metro Area.

Manufacturing, construction and educational services, along with health care and social assistance are the major commercial activities here. Public schooling falls under the Ramapo Central School District. It has a number of private schools. For higher education, Rockland Community College is close by. The closest hospital is Good Samaritan Hospital of Suffern, located 3 miles away in Suffern. RBS Citizens, National Association has a branch here.
