Allentown is a town in Bleckley, Laurens, Twiggs, and Wilkinson Counties in Georgia state. The town's population was 169 as per the 2010 census. The Twiggs County portion is part of the Macon Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Laurens County portion is part of the Dublin Micropolitan Statistical Area. The other two counties are not a part of any metropolitan area.
The town was named for postmaster J.W. Allen. The majority of the population comprises White Americans (64.46%), along with a sizeable African American population (35.19%). Other races make up the remainder of the population.
